To be able to love a companion of Greedfall you have to help them complete their own quest chain. This involves talking to them regularly, to accompany them in certain missions and help them complete their own secondary quests.
You must also play smart. If you plan to argue with the natives, you may not want Siora to be with you if you are considering romanced. It is easy to lose the reputation of your companions and that will affect your ability to love them.
Your goal is to get the level of relationship you can check in the friendly companion menu so that the companion can take a romantic way to your life. However, it s really possible to spoil that, and you can actually destroy your chances of being in love with a character if you act in a way that does not approve.
Of your companions available, Siora, Kurt, Aphra and Vasco can all be romanced. Some will depend on whether your character is masculine or feminine.
Kurt - can only be romanced by Sardeet s wife. Aphra - can only be romanced by Sardeet male. Siora - can be romanced by Sardeet, man or woman. Vasco - can be romanced by a man or a woman of Sardet.
Each option of romance is also linked to an achievement.
