The Darkside Adventure Set of Retro Style Point-Click Adventure Games has just been launched for the brand new Atari VCS video game computer, which is itself a very deliberate attempt to find the retro sensation of the Atari 2600 Original. Fashionable games can play these retro games award-winning several times on an equally retro microconsole.
The Darkside Detective and The Darkside Detective: Smoked in the Dark focus on the bizarre adventures and often macabre of Detective Francis McQueen and his partner, the officer notoriously spacious Patrick Dooley. During two games, the pair crosses a variety of scary cases, scary and strangely strange in the community of Twin Lakes, the 34th most haunted city of America.
These games have already made their way on many different platforms and have been very welcomed, so it's not really a surprise to see them sneak on Atari VCS. Now, even more players can investigate a case parade of dementia, monstrous culprits and paradoxical solutions. Just keep an eye when you venture in the parallel dimension known as Darkside - that's where things become particularly uncontrollable.
The main features include:
- 15 Unique standalone boxes between the two games
* Technology of pointing and clic * Music of Thomas O'Boyle, a completely living composer, certainly not dead-living, and Ben Prunty, the audiomanian behind jewels such as Into the Breach, Subnautica and FTL * Rende of photo-realistic pixels * (* depends on your definition of photo-realism) _ * At least six jokes_
If you have just getting your hand on the Atari VCS and you desperately need games for that - ideally good games that have already passed the inspection on other consoles - you could certainly make worse than the Darkside games Detective. These titles are offset and fun of the best ways, as you can see in the trailer of the above distinctions.
Between the retro-pixeled graphics, the fantasmagoric sensitivities and the many adventure puzzles point-click complex to solve, you are sure to have a good time. Just be careful after dusk. It would be a shame he's coming to you.
The Darkside Detective and The Darkside Detective: Smoked in The Dark are now available on Atari VCS, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
